Make your own disinfecting wipes!
Simple, easy to make disinfecting wipes.
A cleaning business friend did a short video on how to make these, and get this, she used to make baby wipes for her children in the same way! These are very inexpensive and easy to make.
You will need:
roll of paper towels
gallon size freezer bag or other air tight container
disinfectant of your choice
serrated knife
How to make the wipes:
Use the knife to cut the paper towel roll in half. Fair warning, it makes a mess!
Place one half of the rolls into the air tight container.
Slowly pour the disinfectant onto the paper towels. Do this slowly, don’t want the paper towels drenched only wet. In the video I did, and I am awful at videos, I tried to pull the core of the paper towels out too soon, don’t be like me, let it sit for a few minutes. Once you pull the core out, you have your wipes. EASY PEASY 🙂
I have never made these before, however my friend did say that if they start to get smelly, toss them. They can last a week or more. I guess this part would depend on the disinfectant maybe? We will find out and I’ll update here.
